Light Assembly is a series of experiments using the various techniques prevalent in industry standard graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator, particularly the layer and pathfinder tools, in an entirely analog environment without computers. The compositions created could of course in hindsight be emulated in digital, but would be difficult to conceive on a screen without the constraints of the physical space, the physical limitations of each material, and the propensity for error and unintended, chance operations.
